The Biggest Trailers of the Week

I've titled this post the Biggest Trailers of the Week - more like the entire year!?! Two of the most highly anticipated films for 2015 have released trailers this week. Ticket Stub could not ignore either of them or even wait for a Trailer Tuesday to come around. Instead, I've combined these two epic film trailers together so you won't miss the most talked about videos of the week.

Firstly - Jurassic World. Universal gave us a frustratingly short teaser on Friday and late Tuesday evening released this beast of a trailer for the movie's third sequel. I've got to say it looks tense, awesome and epic on a grand scale. Chris Pratt, star of the highly successful Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), is the male lead in this installment. I'm also loving that cheeky reference to Spielberg's Jaws (1975) in the trailer. As if the shark wasn't deadly enough, let's see the ma-hu-sive sharped teeth dino-crocodile snapping up one of the most terrifying and iconic villains!

Directed by Colin Trevorrow, the film sees Jurassic World - a dinosaur theme park - open to the public after 22 years since the events of Jurassic Park (1993). Things start to go terribly wrong though, as researchers introduce a new genetically modified hybrid dinosaur which causes destruction in its path.

Check out the trailer below. Jurassic World will be released 12th June 2015.

Now to the most talked about trailer of the year so far - Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens. Fans and film buffs were eagerly waiting today to see the first glimpse of the movie directed by J.J. Abrams. Some cinema-goers in the United States got the first viewing but it was at 15.06 GMT that the trailer was released to the world and nearly broke the internet.

Although only 1 min 30 secs, we caught a few clues as to what the film will entail. The lightsabers have had a makeover and that wonderful John Williams score is back! Also, I am pretty sure that the voice over is the brilliant Benedict Cumberbatch. He confirmed on The Graham Norton Show that he was on set and seemed to be sworn to secrecy about the filming. However, others on the Twittersphere suggest it could be Andy Serkis or Max Von Sydow. Take a listen and decide for yourself.

The movie will be released on 18th December 2015:

Trailer Tuesday: Pitch Perfect 2

Image: cinemablend.com

The widely anticipated sequel to the surprise hit of 2012, Pitch Perfect, will be bursting onto screens next year as the new trailer for the movie was released earlier this week.

Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Ben Platt, Brittany Snow and Elizabeth Banks (who is also directing) return in the much loved singing and dancing musical comedy. Expect plenty of acapella battles and song mash-ups as this time the Barden Bellas head to compete in the World Championships. It already looks like a hoot and will no doubt be a box office success.

Pitch Perfect was an unexpected gem which got us all learning the cup song - I am a master at this now and it has become my new party trick! Why not learn it yourself with this handy guide below?

Pitch Perfect 2 will be released in May 2015.
So you'll have loads of time to perfect the cup song!

Trailer Tuesday: Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)

Image: designntrend.com

The Avengers are back! Yes - the sequel to Avengers Assemble (2012) and the eleventh installment in the Marvel series will once again be blasting into cinemas next year.

However, there has been a bit of controversy with this trailer. An unknown individual leaked it to the world causing Marvel to quickly release the official HD trailer six days early. They did well in trying to recover from the embarrassment though - by posting a tweet blaming Marvel's villainous organisation HYDRA for the leak. Now though, Marvel is demanding Google to name the leaker's identity. Surely though, this is just great publicity for the film?!

Enough of the hype, what about the movie itself and the cast? As with the previous Avengers, Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, along, with the legend, Samuel L. Jackson have returned. Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson also join the cast as the twins Pietro and Wanda Maximoff (better known as Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver).

The movie will see Tony Stark attempting to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program - a self-aware artificial intelligence. However, things quickly go awry as Ultron emerges and turns against the human race and sets to eradicate them from Earth. Will the Avengers save the day once again?

Avengers: Age of Ultron won't be released until May 2015, but for now, enjoy the sneak peek trailer:

Trailer Tuesday: American Sniper (2014)

Image: seat42f.com
After directing the slightly disappointing Jersey Boys (2014) - click here to see my review - Clint Eastwood is back in the directorial chair. His new film, American Sniper, is set to be a much greater success. And if the trailer is anything to go by, it certainly will get audiences hooked.

The movie is based on Chris Kyle's autobiography of the same title. The Navy S.E.A.L has been acknowledged as the deadliest sniper in American military history. His confirmed kill count reached 160 deaths out of 255 claimed kills. He served four tours during the Iraq War and was awarded with various medals for his service.

Bradley Cooper plays Kyle and the movie spans his military career. Sienna Miller also stars as Kyle's wife, Taya Renae Kyle.

The trailer is very tense and I am definitely intrigued to find out more.

The movie will be released in the States on Christmas Day, but UK audiences will have to wait until 16th January 2015.

Trailer Tuesday: The Theory of Everything (2014)

Image: focusfeatures.com

The first Trailer Tuesday of October is here!
This week's pick is the widely anticipated The Theory of Everything.

The bio-pic centres on physicist Stephen Hawking and his relationship with his wife, Jane. The film is based on Jane Hawking's memoir Travelling to Infinity: My life with Stephen. It sees the beginnings of their relationship at Cambridge University, the impact of his success and the challenges of his diagnosis with Motor Neurone Disease at the age of 21.

Eddie Redmayne stars as Stephen and there is already Oscar talk of him winning Best Actor. Felicity Jones plays Jane and they are also joined by Emily Watson, David Thewlis and Charlie Cox. The world premiere, at the recent Toronto International Film Festival, was well received by critics:

Tremendously moving and inspirational - NEW YORK POST

To say the response here was rapturous would not be understating the enthusiasm I heard - not just from pundits but also Academy voters with whom I spoke. One told me he came in with high expectations for a quality movie and this one exceeded them. - DEADLINE, Pete Hammond

UK audiences will have to wait until January next year to see the film and will be released in the States on November 7th.

September Film of the Month

It's been a busy month - not with seeing a huge amount of films unfortunately - so this will be a brief Film of the Month post. October is looking particularly exciting though, with plenty of widely anticipated films being released. I'm quickly reading Gone Girl before it's out in cinemas next week - check out this Trailer Tuesday to find out more!

Looking at the month gone by, it hasn't been the most outstanding. However, hopefully now autumn leaves are falling and the dark nights are drawing in, awards and Oscar buzz will start to build. This all means we'll be watching some epic and thrilling films for the remainder of the year.

As always, here is the all important rating system:

* = Poor. Why did I even bother?!
** = OK. Could have done better.
*** = Good. Recommended though don’t feel bad you don’t get to see this one.
**** = Excellent. Not quite perfect but highly recommended.
***** = Masterpiece. You’d be a fool not to see this film.

All movie titles will link to their relevant IMDB pages so you can find out more about plot, cast and crew.

Do you agree with the ratings? Let me know on Twitter or in the comments below.

Image: beyondhollywood.com
I knew this movie was going to be awful before it began. With low exceptions, I was therefore slightly surprised at how I laughed a few times. But only a few. There isn't really much to say about the movie. (Great for a reviews section! Well done, Helena). What I mean by that is, you can pretty much get the gist of it by the trailer.

The thing I found most funny about the film is how it has coincidentally mirrored real life in recent weeks -  with celebrity sex tapes and pictures being leaked online because of The Cloud.
'And you can't get it down from The Cloud?' says Diaz. 'Nobody understands The Cloud. It's a fucking mystery!' exclaims Segel. (You can see this dialogue in the trailer - like I said, just watch that and you've seen the film).

The product placement is also ridiculous. Apple must be having a field day with the amount of products taking up the precious screen time. It is pretty much an advert for Apple all the way through.

With only a few laughs, it is embarrassingly silly and underwhelming. Don't bother.

If I Stay

Image: en.wikipedia.org

Since The Fault in Our Stars was released, it seems that the dramatic and tragic teen love stories are becoming increasingly popular. If I Stay falls into this category. It is rather soppy and romantic, so I'm sure it will appeal to the target audience of young teenage girls. The acting and plot is very dramatic. With Mia between life and death, the scenes in the hospital become very melodramatic - especially in one instance where Mia is crying and falls to the ground in a OTT fashion looking straight down the lens of the camera.

Despite this, the soundtrack is brilliant. It is actually a huge element of the film, Mia is a cello player so Saint-Saens, Bach and Beethoven are heavily featured. Not only good for dramatic effect, this is also great for introducing young audiences to classical music. Mia's boyfriend, Adam, is in a band and is drawn to Mia's love of the cello. It is what brings them together. So along side the classical strings, are Ben Howard with his song Promise and a beautiful cover of Beyonce's Halo by Ane Brun. The indie-rock tunes are probably influenced by Mia's parents' taste in music too. The soundtrack is available on Spotify and is well worth the listen.

A few good parts, but too dramatic and soppy for my liking. Great for young teens though.

This has got to be up there with one of the best documentaries I have ever seen. On Sunday, my sister and I went to see Night Will Fall at the British Film Institute (BFI). This is a documentary about the cameramen from the Allied Forces, who were making their own documentary, headed by Sidney Bernstein, about the discovery of the concentration camps in Germany between 1944-45.

The filming of German Concentration Camps Factual Survey was left unfinished until the Imperial War Museum London recently restored and completed the documentary with the notes left by the filmmakers. Alfred Hitchcock also worked on the film as a supervising director.

Alongside excerpts of the film's raw footage, are interviews with those individuals who were liberated from the camps and the soldiers who discovered the unimaginable atrocity. The interviews are heart breaking and incredibly moving. Especially so, when their descriptions are matched with the visually shocking images. I had seen photographs before from the camps, but no reel footage like this. The images are hard to describe as they are truly horrific: corpses being thrown into pits, men, women and children being left to rot and freeze in the snow. As one of the veterans describes, 'I had peered into Hell'. Watching this film only gives you a glimpse of what they saw, but my word, it is exactly as he says: Hell.

Although harrowing to watch, this documentary is incredibly important for every human being to see. Night Will Fall also reminds us of the significant importance of documentary film in revealing truth and creating a historic record. The original documentary, German Concentration Camps Factual Survey, will be shown at the BFI London Film Festival on October 13th 2014.

Rating: ****

Trailer Tuesday: Gone Girl (2014)

Image: independent.co.uk
This week's Trailer Tuesday is based on the best-selling novel by Gillian Flynn: Gone Girl.

David Fincher, best known for Fight Club (1999), The Social Network (2010) and, most recently, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011), directs this tense thriller.
The film tells the story of Nick - a husband who reports his wife, Amy, missing and becomes a suspect in her mysterious disappearance. A huge search party and media frenzy entails which puts Nick under intense scrutiny and has us all asking the question: did he kill his wife?

Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike play the broken married couple. The fantastic Neil Patrick Harris and Missi Pyle also feature in the film. I cannot wait to see this movie. The trailer is gripping and full of suspense before we've even set foot in the cinema. After enjoying Fincher's previous work, I am very much looking forward to seeing this.

Gone Girl will open the New York Film Festival this year, running from the 26th September to 12th October. The film will be released in the UK on 3rd October 2014.

Trailer Tuesday: Into the Woods (2014)

Image: teaser-trailer.com
Not gonna lie, I'm pretty excited for this one.
The new Into the Woods trailer was released last week and it looks magical.

Into the Woods is Stephen Sondheim's musical take on the Brothers Grimm fairy-tales. Winning Tony Awards and Oliviers for both its original productions and revivals, the musical is highly popular and adored across the world. Fans, including myself, have been eagerly anticipating a first glimpse of the film.

Directed by Chicago (2002) director, Rob Marshall, the movie has one of the best ever casts: Anna Kendrick, Chris Pine (looking very charming indeed), James Corden, Emily Blunt, Meryl Streep and Johnny Depp.

The set design and special effects certainly look impressive. Above all though, I'm excited to see the songs and story brought to the screen. It's ticking all the right boxes, so hopefully it will live up to the hype and expectation.

Into the Woods will be released in the UK at Christmas.

Trailer Tuesday: The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014)

Image: imdb.com
A quick Trailer Tuesday before the day is out! The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies teaser trailer was released yesterday. The movie has finally reached the third installment (even though it really doesn't need to be that long!).

Martin Freeman is back with the faces so familiar to us now - with Orlando Bloom, Richard Armitage, Ian McKellen along with Cate Blanchett as Galadriel. And who can forget the roaring tones of Benedict Cumberbatch as Smaug?

After seeing the second film, and being a huge Lord of the Rings fan, I was left extremely disappointed.
The effects looked somehow dated and, inevitably, it was too long.

However, this teaser trailer has definitely got me excited. Especially using the song sung by Pippin (Billy Boyd) in The Return of the King (2003).

Take a look at the trailer below, it looks to be epic.

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies will be released in UK on 12th December 2014.

Trailer Tuesday: The Imitation Game (2014)

Image: moviestillsdb.com
A new week, a new Trailer Tuesday. Ticket Stub's choice today is The Imitation Game which tells the story of Alan Turing and the pioneering Enigma machine which helped crack the impossible German code during the Second World War.

The film stars the mighty Benedict Cumberbatch as Turing. Other cast members include Keira Knightley, Charles Dance, Mark Strong and Rory Kinnear. The British film looks to be a tense and dramatic depiction of the code breaking at Bletchley Park - a place well worth the visit if you get the chance.

The film is to have its European premiere at the BFI London Film Festival in October. Festival director, Clare Stewart, has more details below:

"We are thrilled to announce one of the most anticipated films of the year – The Imitation Game – as this year’s BFI London Film Festival Opening Night gala. Featuring extraordinary performances from the British talent in front of the camera and vividly directed by Morten Tyldum, The Imitation Game does cinematic justice to Alan Turing’s vision, determination and personal story as well as his enduring impact on British history and contemporary life."

The Imitation Game looks to be a brilliant British drama for the autumn.

Trailer Tuesday: Interstellar (2014)

Image: wallpaperseries.com

It's Tuesday which can only mean one thing on Ticket Stub - it's time for another Trailer Tuesday.

This week's choice is a new film from Christopher Nolan - Insterstellar.

Nolan is back in the director's seat since finishing the Batman trilogy and the outstanding blockbuster, Inception (2010). Co-written with his brother Jonathan, Nolan's sci-fi thriller sees a group of scientists and explorers try and surpass the limitations of human space travel after a wormhole is discovered.

Starring recent Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey alongside Michael Caine, Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain, the movie certainly has a great cast. Hanz Zimmer is also back scoring the film which will surely be epic as ever. No doubt lots of special effects and advertising Nolan's name with the film will make this a popular choice at the box office.

Interstellar is released in the UK on November 7th 2014.

Trailer Tuesday: Foxcatcher (2014)

Image: collider.com

Today's Trailer Tuesday comes straight after its huge praise and success at the Cannes Film Festival. This week Ticket Stub's choice is Foxcatcher.

The movie is based on the true story of Olympic wrestling champion Mark Schultz and his relationship with paranoid schizophrenic mentor, John du Pont. The film is based on Mark Schultz's autobiography and the movie has already received enormous acclaim from critics.

Starring Channing Tatum and an almost unrecognisable Steve Carell, the movie looks to be dark, dramatic and gripping. I do love it when comedic actors take on the more serious roles - and they are usually tremendous at it - I'm mainly thinking of Jim Carrey in The Truman Show (1998) and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004). Foxcatcher also features Mark Ruffalo, Vanessa Redgrave and Sienna Miller.

Check out the trailer below and let me know what you think.

Trailer Tuesday: Jersey Boys (2014)

Image: retrokimmer.com

Trailer Tuesday is back! Inspired by the Stagestruck Festival this week in Sheffield, I have picked the musical Jersey Boys as Ticket Stub's recommended future film.

This is one of the most popular musicals in recent musical theatre history - winning four Tony awards on Broadway and the Olivier award for Best New Musical in the 2009 London West End production.

Clint Eastwood directs this picture which tells the story of The Four Seasons: from their inception, rise to fame and eventual break-up. Similar to Dreamgirls (2006), this is all artfully woven with the band's best rock n' roll songs from the 1960s, such as Big Girls Don't Cry, Can't Take My Eyes Off You and December 1963 (Oh, What A Night). Pure classics that you can't help but tap your feet along to in this trailer.

Many of the original Broadway stars are reprising their roles in this film, including the lead John Lloyd Young playing Frankie Valli. The musical numbers sound pretty good to me which hopefully means we are sure to avoid any murderous singing by big screen stars. (Yes, I'm thinking back to Pierce Brosnan in Mamma Mia. Well, I'd rather forget actually).

I'm liking the look of Jersey Boys, particularly with the direct fourth-wall narration by each band member. Also, being a huge musical theatre fan, this is right up my street!

Jersey Boys is set for release in the USA on June 20th 2014. It will also be the closing night film at the LA Film Festival this year.
Let me know what you think of the trailer in the comments below or tweet @TicketStubBlog.

If you're in Sheffield this week, the Stagestruck Festival will be featuring some the greatest musicals that made it from Broadway to Hollywood. A selection of classics from On the Town (1949), Funny Girl (1968), to Dreamgirls (2006) and Les Miserables (2012) will be shown, so get yourself down to the Showroom Cinema for your musical fix.

Trailer Wednesday: Wish I Was Here (2014)

Image: ash-greene.org

I am too excited to share this trailer with you that it can't wait for the usual Tuesday slot, nor the occasional Trailer Thursday...Today, I share the teaser trailer for Wish I Was Here.

Directed by Zach Braff, this is the project in which the Scrubs star funded the film through Kickstarter. This was with the main purpose for getting full editing control, as he did before in his directorial debut for Garden State (one of my all time favourite films). I did indeed pledge just $10 to the making of this film. Along the way, I have been updated with weekly emails from the man himself showing behind the scenes footage from the movie which has been truly fascinating to see the world of independent film-making.

As well as starring Mr. Braff himself, other cast members include Josh Gad, Kate Hudson and the legendary Mandy Patinkin. Not only does Braff star and direct, he wrote this film with his brother Adam. It premiered to good reviews and a standing ovation at the Sundance Film Festival. It looks marvelous and I'm hoping the soundtrack will be another standout as Garden State was sheer perfection. Check out my first ever Soundtrack Saturday to find out more.

Without further ado, check out the teaser trailer for Wish I Was Here.
The UK release is set for 19th September 2014:

Trailer Tuesday: Maleficent (2014)

Disney released this glorious new poster today for Maleficent (2014)
Image: metro.co.uk

Trailer Tuesday is back and this time with Disney's widely anticipated Maleficent.

Starring Angelina Jolie in the title role, the film is a live action remake of the classic Sleeping Beauty tale, however this time we follow Maleficent's perspective of the story.
This is Robert Stromberg's directorial debut. He has previously worked as production designer on pictures such as Alice in Wonderland (2010) and Oz the Great and Powerful (2013).
His magical and fantastical vision should therefore bode well for Maleficent.

Other actors to look out for include: Peter Capaldi, Imelda Staunton, Miranda Richardson and Juno Temple. The special effects look spell-binding and, looking from the trailer and new poster released today (see above), Jolie fits the aesthetically beautiful yet pure evil nature of Disney's most iconic villain.

I absolutely love Lana Del Rey's haunting version of Once Upon A Dream in this trailer.
Hopefully there will be more soundtrack gems and Maleficent will live up to the hype when it is released in the UK on 30th May 2014.

Trailer Tuesday: The Fault in Our Stars (2014)

Image: hypable.com

On Wednesday, The Fault in Our Stars trailer was released racking up a total number of 3 million views in just 24 hours - and the view count is still growing (over 9 million at this point). If you have read the book by John Green then you'll definitely want to see this movie.

The Fault in Our Stars tells the story of Hazel, a 16 year old cancer patient who meets and falls in love with Augustus at a cancer support group. Although you may think this is a depressing story, and yes there are some very sad moments, the book is also witty and romantic. I hoping this will come across on screen.

Directed by Josh Boone, the movie stars some relatively new faces with Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort taking the lead roles. Yet there are some familiar faces too, including Williem Dafoe, Laura Dern and True Blood TV star, Sam Trammell.

If you'd like to know more about the making of the film, I suggest heading over to John Green's YouTube channel (he makes video blogs with/to his brother, Hank). He was on set for some of the film and interviewed a few of the stars of the movie.

The Fault in Our Stars will be released on 20th June 2014 in the UK.

Trailer Tuesday: Frozen (2013)

Image: freefever.com
With the lead up to Christmas in its final week, Ticket Stub has gone all festive to celebrate. So wrap up warm, grab those mince pies, get a glass of mulled wine and enjoy all of Ticket Stub's recommended holiday films.

The first feature this week is Trailer Tuesday. Although this film has been out since the 6th December, I wanted to pick a wonderfully wintery movie to get us all in the mood for Christmas.
Therefore, the Trailer Tuesday choice is Frozen.

The new Disney movie, tells the story of princess sisters Elsa and Anna. After their parents die, Elsa becomes queen yet her frosty magical powers hold her back from bonding with her sister and interacting with the people in the kingdom. As Elsa accidentally sparks an eternal freeze across the kingdom, Anna has to persuade her sister to stop the bitter winter so Elsa can return as queen. With help from a hilarious snowman, Olaf, an adventerous hero named Kristoff and his trusty reindeer, Sven, Anna has a big quest on her hands.

I saw the film just over a week ago and loved it. The songs are brilliant, particularly the comical In Summer and Let It Go – which has been nominated for a Golden Globe. The film stars one of my favourite musical theatre actresses, Idina Menzel – who you may also recognise from Disney’s 2009 film Enchanted. Kristen Bell voices Elsa and Glee's Jonathan Groff also stars.

Another thing I loved is the portrayal of the two sisters. They are both quirky and awkward which I certainly related to and it reminded me of my relationship with my siblings – particularly with the song Do You Want To Build a Snowman? However, I do wish there was at least some variation in the appearance of the recent Disney princesses. Both have a very similar aesthetic to Rapunzel in Tangled (2010). A recent article in the Guardian also picked up on this issue and mentions a marketing campaign after Brave's release which had an illustration of Merida conforming to the typical Disney princess look: big eyes and thin as a stick figure.

This is only one set back. I was thoroughly entertained and I liked the way in which Disney mocks itself.

Not only is the film magical, but the short film beforehand is a treat in itself with a 1920s Mickey and his friends bursting through the cinema screen.

Frozen is out NOW.

Trailer Thursday: Godzilla (2014)

Image: godzilla.wikia.com

Trailer Thursday is here with a brand new trailer for the 2014 Godzilla film which was released yesterday. I had to share it earlier than usual, as it fits in perfectly with my Animals in Film week on Ticket Stub.

When clicking on the trailer, I thought 'I bet this is going to be awful. One of those stupidly over expensive summer blockbusters which I will never want to see'. How I was wrong...

Directed by Gareth Edwards, Godzilla is an epic reboot of the infamous giant dinosaur-monster who takes on destroying the city. After seeing the disappointing 1998 version with Matthew Broderick when I was younger, I have never been hugely interested or engrossed in this kind of action movie. Yet, this teaser trailer is one of the best in a long time and Godzilla is now on my list of must-see films for 2014.
I did not see that coming.

The movie stars the great Bryan Cranston, of Breaking Bad fame (2008-2013), and Nowhere Boy (2009) and Kick-Ass (2010) actor, Aaron Taylor-Johnson. French actress Juliette Binoche, Sally Hawkins, who starred in Blue Jasmine (2013) earlier this year, and Elizabeth Olsen also feature in the sci-fi monster blockbuster.

It is only a teaser trailer, but I urge you to watch it. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Godzilla is released in the UK on May 14th 2014.

Trailer Tuesday: The Wolf of Wall Street (2013)

Image: hollywoodreporter.com
Martin Scorsese is back with a new film starring Leonardo DiCaprio: The Wolf of Wall Street.

The film tells the story of wealthy stockbroker, Jordan Belfort, from his rise to riches to his fall with fraud and corruption. Based on the true memoir of Belfort himself, the film has been described as a biographical black comedy.

Other cast members alongside DiCaprio include Jonah Hill and Matthew McConaughey. I'm also pleased to see a cameo by Rob Reiner, director of When Harry Met Sally (1989), Princess Bride (1987) and starred in Sleepless in Seattle (1993).

It looks to be a thrilling film and, with it being the fifth collaboration between DiCaprio and Scorsese, I'm hoping it will live up to my expectations.

The Wolf of Wall Street is released on 17th January 2014

Trailer Tuesday: Muppets Most Wanted (2014)

Image: nerdpride.com.br
The fuzz and felt is back! Today's Trailer Tuesday is Muppets Most Wanted.

After the success of The Muppets (2011), Kermit and the whole gang are back in what looks to be a thrilling and hilarious sequel. The film sees the gang touring across Europe to sell out audiences until they run into a spot of bother. A jewel-heist and the world's number one criminal, who just so happens to uncannily resemble Kermit, cause mayhem and chaos - and subsequently lots of laughs.

As well as the classic faces such as Fozzie Bear and Miss Piggy, the film stars Ricky Gervais, Tina Fey and Tom Hiddleston. Other cameos include Lady Gaga, Celine Dion and Christoph Waltz. The genius music of Bret McKenzie will also return. He won an Oscar for his compositions back at the awards in 2012.
Hopefully, this film will have us laughing out loud and singing along to even more cleverly witty and catchy songs.

Muppets Most Wanted is out in UK on the 28th March 2014
